I am excited and honored that this excellent group of urologic surgeons have deemed me worthy enough to be included among their ranks!
Whereas my membership in the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons (SUPS) focuses on male and female sexual medicine and genitourinary surgery using prosthetics and implantable devices
(penile implants, urinary sphincters, synthetic slings, sacral neuromodulators), GURS encompasses all pelvic floor reconstruction. There are obvious overlaps, but inherent differences. Yet both societies aim to
improve patient education, surgical outcomes, and physician knowledge and skills. I am extremely passionate about these specialty areas in the broad field of urology, and I am thrilled at this opportunity to further my
personal education by this shared learning process and collaboration with so many other exceptional, like minded urologists. Again, I am grateful.
